Benchmarking Season Starts May 1st!
To meet Energize Denver requirments, buildings 25,000 sq ft and larger must have third-party data verification of their benchmarking twice: once in either 2025 or 2026, from May 1st to Sept 1st, and once for the final measurement period (usually 2032).
Accreditation
Compliance Expert LLC employes both Certified Energy Managers (CEM) and Professional Engineers (PE) which are required for Third Party Data Verification.
Penalties
Fines of $2000 for each ordinance can be given for not submitting annual benchmarking by June 1st (Building Performance CO) and Sept 1st (Energize Denver). Failure to resolve or pay a citation within 180 days may result in a property lien.
Requirement Options
Third Party Data Verification is required for many compliance options such as baseline year adjustments, target adjustments, facility type change, timeline extensions, and custom EUI targets.
Checklists
We produce third party data verification checklists and if that is all that's needed, we can stop there or take the next steps to get you into compliance.
